COVID-19 – Partner Update 8, 6th May5.05.2020
Welcome to your weekly update, where we aim to keep you informed of key industry news, along with advice and guidance to support your business.
This week, we’re pleased to launch a series of Partner webinars, designed to equip you to respond to the outbreak. In these sessions we’ll tackle key questions from the channel around the pandemic.
We have also introduced a range of homeworking initiatives, which aim to support positive customer conversations. You can read more details further below.

Openreach appointments – update
Openreach previously announced that WLR appointment books would be closed until 1st June 2020.
This week, Openreach confirmed that WLR appointments are now available throughout May, where the service can be delivered through the engineer working to the exterior of the premises. Openreach engineers will only enter premises on certain conditions.
We recommend that Partners review orders on the WLR portal, in order to access available dates.
9’s Connect Ethernet – you can now introduce a hibernation period with 9’s Connect Ethernet product. The hibernation period can remain in place for up to 90 days and is available for SME customers only. If you would like to arrange hibernation for any customers, please get in touch.
We continue to work with other connectivity suppliers to understand if they can offer a hibernation period similar to the offering that we’ve provided on our own network. If you have a request, please get in touch and we’ll do our best to see how this can be supported.

30 day Mobile contracts
We’ve worked with O2 and Vodafone to introduce an offering with a shorter 30 day contract, so your customers can add temporary connections and cease with ease when staff return to the office.
Offer applies to orders placed on or before 31st May 2020.
Offer one: Free eve Entry licence and free Mobile bolt-on
Add eve’s Mobility bolt-on to the Entry licence, to give your customers an accessible Mobility option.
We’re offering the Entry licence and the Mobile bolt-on free of charge.
Licences remain free until 30th June 2020, for all new orders placed up until 31st May 2020.
Offer two: Free upgrade to eve’s Everything licence
If you order eve’s Essential licence, we’ll upgrade it to the Everything licence at no extra charge.
We’ll also include the Collaboration+ and Conferencing bolt-ons for free, giving your customers access to a full suite of UC tools including eve’s Mobile Application.
Offer pricing remains in place until 30th June 2020, for all new orders placed up until 31st May 2020.
