Partner Support Advisor

Team Leader - Managed Billing




The Partner Support Advisor (PSA) is the “front line” of 9’s Partner Operations Help Desk. A PSA fulfils a number of roles that contribute to providing excellent service to our Partners, which 9 Group are known for. This role supports the billing function by providing accurate and timely billing on behalf of our Partners, whilst assisting with resolving billing issues and margin queries.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Using 9 Group’s own custom developed billing system to support Partners with running reports, margin analysis and charging elements including tariffing
  • Using the system to produce invoices on behalf of Partners, which involves analysis of reporting and a high level of accuracy
  • Work on several tasks at once and prioritising own workload as operationally required
  • Answering and responding to Partners queries via telephone or email
  • Support Partners with Direct Debit queries, using resources available to us
  • Supporting the Team Leader with ongoing improvements to the billing function including:  Bill-run procedures and Proactive ideas to drive improvement with a focus on automation
  • Completion of routine administrative duties

Skills Required

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • The ability to work as part of a team, with a common goal
  • An ability to solve problems in a logical, speedy and efficient manner
  • Experience in all Microsoft Office applications, specifically Microsoft Excel
  • Happy to work in a fast paced and changing industry
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to develop effective working relationships with a range of partners, client and suppliers
  • Understands the need for diligence with reporting and identifies any risk areas

37.5 hours per week, 9:00am – 5:30pm
